Pauline van Dongen has revealed the new ArtBag that she created for Stop Aids Now. The launch took place at Museum Boijmans van Beuningen on the occasion of the exhibition The Future of Fashion is Now.

Worldwide there are about 5 million people between the age of 10 to 24 living with hiv, most of them are young woman in Africa. For them aids is the number one cause of death. ‘Today it’s all about the future, not only in the exhibition, but
especially in our goal to give young girls who are affected by AIDS a better future.’ Pauline stated.

The design of the ArtBag originates from Pauline van Dongen’s collection ‘Oloid’.
To her, the future of fashion lies in its premise to be dynamic and responsive.
Our contemporary surroundings are constantly changing and have become liquid under the influence of technology. That movement and energy she translated into the resilient line pattern of the bag. With this ArtBag she shows in a low-tech way, how in the future fashion will be dynamic and interactive.
